The Kern County Board of Supervisors recently discussed spending $908,000 of the taxpayers’ money on out-of-town attorneys and consultants to initiate another layer of unaccountable government called the Oildale Redevelopment Agency.

Where are the “limited government” Republicans?
The City of Bakersfield, Republican controlled city council, approved a 70 unit taxpayer funded low income apartment project at Mill Creek. Yes, in the same Mill Creek that already has the defunct and empty taxpayer funded low income condo project.
